Clinical Key - NICE guidelines and new videos

New content has been added to Clinical Key: NICE Guidelines NICE guidelines have now been added to Clinical Key. You can search for guidelines only or filter your search results to guidelines only. Procedure videos added for Cardiovascular Medicine 31 new videos have been added to the Procedures Consult collection in Clinical Key. Clinical Key is available to UHNM staff only via your NHS Athens username.

With your library card you will be able to: Borrow items from the library (we have DVDs as well as books) Request Inter-Library Loans Access the Keele network via walk-in access Pay for photocopying and printing Access the library during evenings and weekends Why don’t you come along and join. Complete our application form and bring it with your NHS ID to the library counter; we can set up you up there and then.

Clinical Key - Getting Started

Clinical Key has now been purchased for our UHNM users only. Access eBooks, eJournals and Databases Online

NHS staff can access ebooks, ejournals and databases online by registering for an NHS Athens username and password. This single username will allow you to access the online resources that the library subscribes to. Complete the online form to register now and start accessing resources online. Nursing Revalidation – forms and templates from the NMC

If you are starting to complete the new nursing revalidation portfolio, you can download the NMC’s mandatory and recommended forms and templates . Forms include: Practice hours log CPD log Reflective Accounts form Reflective discussion form (with guidance sheet) There are also some examples of completed forms for you to have a look at.

Get updates in your email inbox

Make sure you don’t miss out on any new blog posts. You can get updates sent straight to your email inbox. Updates are provided via Google Feedburner but you don’t’ need to have a google account to use it. Simply enter your email address in the “Follow by email” box on the blog (see right) and click “Submit”. Complete the pop-up form, you will be sent an email, follow the instructions it contains to confirm your request. You will then receive updates via email.

Pharmaceutical Journal – now accessible via NHS Athens

The Pharmaceutical Journal is purchased for staff at UHNM and is now available via your UHNM Athens username. From the login screen click the “OpenAthens” option, then select NHS England from the drop-down list and enter your Athens username / password when prompted. All subscribed journals can be accessed from the NHS Journals list .
