Get Dynamed Mobile

Dynamed is an evidence-based, point of care, clinical reference tool. You can access all the features of Dynamed on the go via the Dynamed App. Download the Dynamed App Download the free Dynamed App from the iTunes Store or Google Play. Log in to Dynamed Click on the mobile link from the Dynamed toolbar Screen-shot of the Dynamed toolbar Enter your email address Screen-shot of the App request form An authentication key will be emailed to you. Open the Dynamed email from your device. Within 48 hours, tap on the link in the email to authenticate the app. Note: after 48 hours, users will need to request a new authentication key. Keep Up-to-Date - Get Dynamed Updates

You can get Dynamed topic updates sent to your inbox – you’ll get the latest evidence updates that are added to Dynamed. You’ll only get an email when there is new content added. Get Alerts On the topic page you are interested in, click the Alert icon and enter your email address. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your alert request. Complete the instructions given in the email. Screen-shot of Dynamed Alert You can view all Dynamed updates by selecting “Recent Updates” on the toolbar. You can then limit the results by category and practice changing updates only. To receive these updates by email, select the Alert icon and follow the instructions. Saving and Sharing in Dynamed

Dynamed is an evidence-based, point-of-care reference tool. It is available to UHNM staff only. Saving & Sharing Topic Pages You can save a permanent link to a topic page. You can then keep this for your own references, or CPD evidence. You can also send to other colleagues to share content for discussion (note that you colleagues will need to be able to access Dynamed as well). Screen-shot of permalink option

Get updates in your inbox

You can sign-up to this blog so that you automatically get blog items in your inbox. Enter your email address into the "Follow by email" box and click the "submit" button. You'll never miss another resource feature, tip, trick or update.

Viewing Topic Pages in Dynamed

Dynamed is an evidence-based, point-of-care reference tool. It is available to UHNM staff only. Evidence is assessed and critically appraised in order to develop topic pages detailing the information you need to answer clinical queries. Previous blog entries have explained how you can access Dynamed and perform searches. Viewing Topic Pages The topic pages are split up into sections. You can use the left-hand content list to jump to the section you need. Click the section heading or the section arrow to open the section and view the full-text. You can also use the “Expand All” and “Collapse All” options to open or close all sections. Screen-shot of the full-text You can search the topic page for text. Enter your text into the search box on the topic page and click search. The text you are looking for will be highlighted within the topic page. Screen-shot of a search content example

Dynamed is an evidence-based, point-of-care reference tool to help you to deal with clinical questions as they arise in practice. It is available to UHNM staff only. Search To search Dynamed type your search terms into the text box. Suggestions from the Dynamed topics will appear. You can select one of the terms in the list or carry on with your own text and then click search to view your results. Accessing Dynamed

Dynamed is an evidence-based, point-of-care reference tool to help you to deal with clinical questions as they arise in practice. It is available to UHNM staff only. Login You will need your UHNM Athens account to login to Dynamed. Go to our Healthcare Resources page , click the Dynamed option and login when prompted.
